The Kashmir Education, Culture and Science Society is a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It came into existence on 2nd August 1983. It is non-political, non-denominational institution that represents all the Kashmiris in the world, and it is the only organization of Kashmiris wedded to the promotion of education, culture and science. The main objective of the Society is to promote Kashmiri Culture, language, arts, literature and science and to encourage study and research in these fields and to establish and operate libraries, clubs, reading rooms and other Centres and to provide facilities and amenities in furtherance of these objectives. To organize and establish educational, cultural and scientific centres/institutions of various levels for members and the youth and children particularly of the Kashmiri community.
